Description:
ASAP Computer Systems (a Syracuse University CASE Center company) is looking for an intern to test and debug web-based database applications. Work environment and scheduling is relaxed.
In most cases, course credits may be awarded by your school, based on satisfactory involvement in this position. This position may evolve into the spring semester and beyond for further credit, or turn into a paid position.
Skills required:
Candidate must be working towards a degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
An understanding of how a database works (how its information is stored and retrieved) is essential. Skills in finding and identifying problems in hardware and software are required. Excellent written and verbal English skills are also required.
MS SQL 2000, and .NET programming experience are a plus.
Candidate must be available through the SU winter break, however time is allowed off for the holidays.
